About us
We are a small rural shelter in Bracken County, Kentucky. We work to ensure that all animals within the county are safe and cared for, as well as caring for the many dogs that reside in the county shelter. It is a tough job, as our hearts break every day for all the animals that we can't help, try as we might.
Donations
Donations are what helps us care for the dogs in the shelter. The generous people who provide the dogs with food, toys, blankets, and even vet care are the soul of the shelter. Without donations, meeting the needs of the dogs would be difficult. We can't thank our generous donors enough! If you would like to help us care for the dogs, please check out our Amazon wishlist. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/13ZKZHLUY78ZT?ref_=wl_share or our Chewy wishlist https://www.chewy.com/g/bracken-county-animal-shelter_b119680922#wish-list . The dogs will be ever grateful, as will we. We also have a paypal if interested in donating that way as well, brackencountyanimalshelter@yahoo.com is the email address for the paypal. Thank you!
Adoptions
The dogs available for adoptions can be found at the link below. There is an application which will need to be completed to ensure that all dogs get the loving forever home they deserve. Adoption fees are $40 and all dogs must be spayed/neutered within 30 days of adoption.
