Meet Jinx — Once Broken, Now Blossoming
Jinx’s journey has been anything but easy. She came into the shelter painfully thin and desperately hungry—not just for food, but for affection, safety, and someone to finally care about her. Even in her worst moments, Jinx showed her incredible heart. Though she was starving, she would let her doggy friends eat first, sitting back patiently until they were full before taking her turn.
In the beginning, Jinx was terrified. She would curl up in the corner of her kennel, too afraid to hope for anything good, too unsure to trust that love existed for her.
But Jinx has bloomed.
With patience, kindness, and time, she has opened up into a happy, playful, unbelievably sweet girl. Today, she dances with joy, jumps around with excitement, and soaks up every bit of affection she can get—pets, kisses, cuddles, you name it. She still loves her food (and honestly, who can blame her?), but she no longer lives in fear of starving.
Jinx gets along well with other dogs and kids, and her gentle spirit makes her easy to love. She may need a little time to adjust to a new home and new people—after all, she’s been let down before—but once she feels safe, she becomes the ultimate love bug.
If a “velcro dog” is a real thing, Jinx is the definition. She wants to be near her person, soaking in every moment of the love she missed for so long.
If you’re willing to give a brave, tender-hearted girl the forever home she deserves, Jinx is waiting to love you with everything she has.
Jacob is a sweet guy, who is still a bit nervous with all of the noise in the shelter. He needs a little bit of time to warm up, but once he does, he gives the best kisses! He has not been dog tested yet, due to his nervousness, but he does do fine with other dogs through the kennel. He also does not seem too concerned with the cats. He would love a safe, calm home, with a family that understands that he may need a little time to adjust to new people. One where he can also have a safe place to run and play, or take long walks with his person.
Oh Casey!! This beauty is still looking for her forever home! She loves, loves to be cuddled and hugged on. She gets along with other dogs, but hates cats. She is good with kids, but older kids would probably be best. She needs an active home where she can run and play and love her best life!
Asteria came into the shelter as skin and bones, but she has been packing on the weight and has learned to trust once again. She is a black mouth cur mix, super sweet, loves to play, and gets along with other dogs (although she can be a little protective of her food still, but can you blame her?!). She is looking for a safe, loving home, where she won't be forgotten and starved ever again!

It sounds like the beginning to a horror novel, but lucky for Frances, he was found by a wonderful family! He was with this wonderful family for a short time, and they absolutely loved him, but sadly, the resident dog did not. He is great at going outside to potty and loves to run and play. He is still a little scared of new experiences, but he is opening up to everything the world has to show him. He is looking for a safe, forever home! He is a heeler mix, about 3-4 months old, and has had his first puppy shot. (litter mate to Miko)

She then spent months in the shelter watching her siblings get adopted, but never her.
