Sassy is the sweetest girl, just a little misunderstood. She has some fear of males, but she has gotten better. She just needs a slow introduction. She has been looking for her forever family for a long time. She is spayed and up to date on shots. She gets along great with most dogs (especially male dogs), loves to run and play, and just wants someone to love her for her.
This little beauty came in as an owner surrender. She has been through a lot in her short life, being handed off to one person after another! She is safe now and looking for her forever, no more bouncing around! Loretta is a little sweetheart with a little dose of "don't mess with me". She does well with other dogs, but will stand her ground if another dog decides to be mean. She absolutely LOVES to play with the hose and chase the water all over! A home without young children would be best for Loretta, just because she is a ball of energy! She seems to do fine with cats too! Are you the one to give Loretta her forever and always?
Pippy came in as an owner surrender for fighting with the other dogs in the home over people food. SInce being in the shelter, she has not barked at another dog or shown any aggression. As a matter of fact, she is quiet, respectful, calm, and sooo loving! She is looking for a home with a patient family that understands she may need to be crated or removed during meal times, at least untiil she learns some manners. While she seems to be fine with the other dogs, we think a single dog home may be better for her, unless her new family is willing to work with her people food obsession and she would need to meet any resident dogs first. She really is a wonderful dog! Are you her one and only?
Miss Willow was adopted, but sadly she was returned. The reason? Separation anxiety!! She just wants to be with her people! She gets along with most dogs, is calm, loves to snuggle, loves to lay in the sun and may even play in the water with you. Willow needs a forever home! She was found as a stray, starving and hot, over a year ago, spent months in the shelter, then weeks in another shelter, to finally be adopted, only to be returned for loving too much! Who wants to show Willow that it's ok to love with all your heart?
Bullet is a really good boy and seems to do well with other dogs and kids, not so much cats! He walks well on a leash and loves to run and play. He is a silly boy who just wants love! He learns routines quickly and likes to have consistency in his daily life.
Werther has been a wonderful shelter guest! He is a little silly, loves attention, is quiet, and seems to get along with other dogs. He does have to use a harness. He can't have a collar and leash, because of past trauma to his trachea. He has bunches of energy and needs a home where he can have the time and space to run that off. He is a great dog and just wants his furever family to find him!
Mowgli has been waiting a long time to find his person. He is a sweet guy who has a lot of energy. He loves to play, run, and get all of the attention that he can. He is dog selective, although he gets along with most. Come meet this good looking boy and see if you want to make his dreams come true!
Max is a 9 year old, neutered, (likely) German Shepherd mix.
He was surrendered for chasing a cat. He had been in a loving home for 7.5 years and now suddenly finds himself in a loud shelter.
He has been nothing but sweet since coming to the shelter though!
He needs a calm home, where he can just be loved and cared for.
If you think you could give Max the home he very much deserves, please complete an application.
Cooper is a only 11 months old! He takes a minute to warm up, but once he does, he is a love bug! He is good with other dogs and loves to run and play. He loves to be with his person, cuddling, playing, and running in the hose.
Prince needs a good home! He was adopted once and was returned for protecting his home. He needs someone who is patient and gives him the time he needs to feel safe and secure. He needs someone who undestands that he will protect you and yours. He needs someone who will love him and never let him go. He is good with other dogs and cats. Are you the one who is willing to give him what he needs?
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to go!
Lacey was found as a stray. The finder took her to the vet, had her spayed, and her shots updated!! Sadly, he was unable to keep her since his older, resident dog and Lacey did not get along. Lacey has been great at the shelter!
She is still young, about one and a half, and has already been through quite a bit. She would love a place to call her own.
Connelly was left in the parking lot overnight with his two giant "sisters". He is super sweet, loves belly rubs, and loves to play with his toys. We aren't sure of this breed, since he looks like an overgrown pug! He is dog friendly, but does not do so well with cats.
Connelly needs a home where he can be spoiled rotten. He sadly had to be separated from his big sisters, since no one is going to adopt a trio of dogs, so he will definitely need some extra love.
Holly is a 10 month old lab mix. She is good with eveyone...cats, dogs, kids, she doesn't care! She loves to play fetch, chase, and water. She is still young, but she listens well, is housetrained, and is ready to have a forever home.
Haas is ready for retirement. He has had a rough couple of months and is ready to live a life od luxury, laying on your couch, lounging in the sun, and of course snuggling with his person. He is good with dogs and cats. He is still recovering from some injuries, but his hair is growing back in and he is just waiting for his forever.
Katie! This 6 year old girl has been miserable for months, suffering from a very itchy skin condition, but wow! She has been on medication and her personality is shining through. She LOVES being with people and does a little happy dance when she sees you coming. She is good with dogs and cats, gentle enough for kids, and is so happy and sweet!
MIss Rosie loves everyone! Everyone is her friend and she will let you know. She is looking for a home where she will can spoiled rotten, sleep in bed, get all the treats, and have someone to play with. She is on the smaller side and can't wait for her forever.
Lucy was adopted about a year ago, but her owner needs to return her. She is currently in foster, with her owner. She is good with other dogs, no cats, and she likes to irritate horses. She needs a home where she can be spoiled, but also one with structure. She is the sweetest girl!
Bunny is new to the shelter, but we know he is a gentle giant. He is good with dogs and cats, calm, walks well on lead, and listens well. He is also an indoor dog, not a working dog. We will share more when we get to know him!
